Arriving By Car?
We are easy to find.
- From the M55 motorway make your way onto the promenade and head North. This means that the sea is on your left side. We are three quarters of a mile North of North Pier. From North Pier you'll pass the METROPOLE Hotel on your left. You'll pass the REVILLS, ROYAL YORK. We are between ST JAMES & TIFFANYS (...big pink one). BLACKPOOL ROCKCLIFFE HOTEL - pull into the car park and give us a wave to help you with your bags.
Car Parking:
- Sorry - we do not guarantee car parking.
- We have 7 vehicle spaces which is "usually" enough as some of our guests arrive by train, coach etc. If EVERYBODY comes in a car, however, there won't be enough spaces.
- Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis.
- We DO NOT reserve spaces - sorry
- There is on street car parking at rear of hotel. If you park on our car park it is at your own risk - don't worry - we've never had any problems yet but we do need to cover ourselves as our insurance does not cover the car park. Please don't use our neighbours car parks. If our car park is full by the time you arrive please just leave it on double yellow lines at front whilst you unload. The traffic wardens allow you reasonable time to unload. (In reality they don't patrol along the front anyway!!) Once you have unloaded the car we'll advise best place to go to park which will usually be on street at rear of hotel, it is well lit and free. or a Car Park 100 yds down the road, which charges £6 per 24hrs parking.
Arriving By Train? (Blackpool North Train Station)
- We are only 10 minute walk from North Station (the main line into Blackpool) but you'll probably want a taxi as you'll have luggage. The taxi rank is outside the station and a cab for two people with two cases should only cost £3.00
- Please make sure you say:-
ROCKCLIFFE HOTEL - 248 "NORTH" PROMENADE to the driver
Arriving at Blackpool Airport
- A well serviced taxi rank is situated directly outside the Arrivals door. A taxi will cost about £9 Ask the driver to take you along the Blackpool promenade so you can get your bearings - it won't cost much more.
